If you’re reading this, it probably means you’re wondering whether it’s time to dive into therapy. This first step you’re taking toward even considering this decision is a courageous one. Most of us like to display the most polished version of ourselves. Deep down, however, we really feel like we’re drowning in loneliness, confusion, and hopelessness. It takes great courage to be vulnerable and allow yourself to be seen, known, and accepted in that place.
My approach is rooted in attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). In our work together, this means we won't just talk about your struggles from a distance. Instead, we'll pay attention to what's happening for you in the moment by gently exploring the emotions and patterns underneath the surface. Many of these experiences trace back to how you learned to connect (or protect yourself) in your earliest relationships. This work is relational and experiential because healing happens not just through insight, but through the felt experience of being truly seen, known, and accepted.
Together, we'll work at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system, building the safety needed to face what's difficult. Over time, you’ll feel more grounded, connected, and at home in yourself. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief, I hope that therapy becomes a place where you don't have to carry it all alone, and where change happens not through force, but through genuine understanding and care.
